EASTERNSAFARI.IN is a premier travel and tour platform owned and operated by NK TOURS AND TRAVELS, a proprietorship firm registered under the laws of India and recognized as an MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise). We are dedicated to providing curated travel experiences across North East India, including specialized tours to Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Nagaland.
These Terms of Use and Booking Conditions explain how our services work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return. By booking a trip or using our platform, you agree to these terms:

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and NK TOURS AND TRAVELS governed by the laws of India. NK TOURS AND TRAVELS acts as your travel organizer, collaborating with trusted third-party providers for hotels, transport, and local activities. While we coordinate your experience, actual services are delivered by independent partners beyond our direct control.
By accessing EASTERNSAFARI.IN, our WhatsApp support, or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of this Agreement, please refrain from using our services. Clients are advised to check service descriptions carefully before booking. Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
“Company / we / us” refers to NK TOURS AND TRAVELS, the proprietorship firm operating Eastern Safari.
“Platform” refers to EASTERNSAFARI.IN, our official WhatsApp channels, email, and mobile interfaces.
“Independent Contractor” refers to third-party hotels, cab drivers, forest department safari operators, or airlines.
“User / Client” refers to any person who visits our platform or makes a booking.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. If you are a minor, you must be acting through a parent or legal guardian.
We may send important communications (booking confirmations, payment reminders, itinerary updates) via WhatsApp, SMS, or email. By initiating a query, you consent to receive such transactional communications.
Permitted: Making genuine inquiries, communicating for support, and sharing accurate data for documentation.
Prohibited: Submitting false bookings, harassing staff, interfering with the platform’s technical function, or using our itineraries/pricing for commercial/competitive purposes.
Our services include Group Tours, Customized North East Holidays, Cab Rentals (Sedan, MUV, SUV), and coordination for Safari bookings in National Parks. As a facilitator, we coordinate these components, but the direct execution is by third-party providers.
A booking is considered confirmed only when:
You have accepted the proposed itinerary and terms.
The required booking deposit has been received.
You have received a formal booking confirmation/voucher from us.
All payments must be made in Indian Rupees (INR) to our official bank account.
Booking Advance: 25% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking. This is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Final Payment: Full payment (100%) must be completed 20 days prior to the departure date.
Non-Refundable Services: Specific components like Forest Safari permits, certain hotel deposits, or event tickets are non-refundable once paid.
MSME Compliance: As an MSME-registered entity, we adhere to professional billing standards. GST and other government taxes are applicable as per current laws.
Domestic Trips: Requests must be made at least 30 days prior to departure.
Charges: The first reschedule is free if requested within the eligible period. Later requests or second reschedules will incur actual costs incurred (hotels/vendors).
Forfeiture: Requests made less than 14 days before departure will result in 100% forfeiture.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. No cash refunds are issued.
20 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total tour cost forfeited.
45 days to 21 days: 50% to 75% deduction depending on vendor charges.
Credit Notes: Valid for 12 months from issuance. They are non-transferable and can only be redeemed against NK TOURS AND TRAVELS packages.
For tours in North East India, clients must carry:
A valid Government-issued Photo ID (Aadhaar/Voter ID).
Inner Line Permits (ILP) for restricted areas (we facilitate these, but issuance is at the discretion of the government).
For Foreign Nationals: Valid Passport and Visa with appropriate Protected Area Permits (PAP).
We strongly recommend clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance. Clients must disclose pre-existing medical conditions, especially for adventure tours or high-altitude travel in Arunachal Pradesh.
NK TOURS AND TRAVELS acts solely as a travel organizer. We are not liable for:
Acts, omissions, or negligence of independent contractors (hotels, airlines, etc.).
Delays or itinerary changes due to weather, road closures, or government restrictions.
Personal injury, loss of baggage, or theft during the trip.
We are not liable for failures or delays caused by natural disasters (floods, landslides), strikes, civil unrest, or government border closures. In such cases, rescheduling or credit notes will be subject to vendor feasibility.
Clients are expected to respect local cultural norms and laws of North East India. Disruptive or offensive behavior may result in immediate termination of participation without refund.
All content on EASTERNSAFARI.IN, including logos, branding, and unique tour itineraries, is the exclusive property of NK TOURS AND TRAVELS. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved via mutual discussion. Failing that, disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tezpur, Sonitpur, Assam, India.
