Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Guwahati, Assam and take Transfer to Dirang

Arrive early in the morning, will drive to Dirang through the lush green mountains of Arunachal Pradesh. Dirang is a beautiful valley in the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. We will visit the picturesque locations of Sangti Valley : Sangti Valley is a definite tourist spot if you love nature dotted with pristine forests and meandering fast hill rivers and home to a very interesting culture and tradition. Around this valley you can witness interesting features like various fruit orchids and exotic birds. Dirang Dzong, Kiwi Fruit Farms etc. The local market for shopping.

Day 2Dirang, Sangti Valley to Tawang

Post breakfast we will start our onward journey for Tawang. We will make 2 stops. We will reach Tawang by evening.
* Nuranang Falls
* Sela Lake, situated at an elevation of 4170 m. It is a breathtaking experience. The lake remains frozen throughout the winter.
Sela pass is situated at about 13,700 feet above MSL and is known to be home to more than 101 lakes. Each of these lakes are considered very religious by the Buddhist community. One of these 101 lakes is the decently large Sela Lake that is located right on the top of Sela Pass. Sela pass is also an important location on the India-China border and hence one can find large Indian army camps and soldiers nearby.
Sela Pass is a mountain pass which you will need to cross before reaching Tawang. This place remains mostly covered in snow and is usually too windy. A breathtaking place in Arunachal Pradesh is a high altitude mountain pass Se-La, with La denoting Pass is a must visit attraction.

Day 3Tawang Local Sighseeing

Post breakfast we will be exploring Tawang. The major attractions for today are: Tawang Monastery for eternal peace ( The Monastery is the second biggest and oldest in Asia and is known as the Tawang Ganden Namgyal Lhatse i.e., the celestial paradise of divine site chosen by the horse was founded by Merag Lodroe Gyamtso in the year 1680-81.),
The Giant Buddha Statue, Tawang War Memorial and the Tawang local market. Explore the whole Tawang and try the ethnic local cuisines

Day 4Tawang to Bumla Pass/ Madhuri Lake Tour

This day we have to start early to cover BUMLA PASS and Madhuri Lake.
Bum La Pass is just situated at near China Border and it was used by Dalai Lama to get asylum in India from Tibet. While coming back from Bum La Pass we will visit Madhuri Lake, which usually freezes in winter season .
After capturing breathtaking views we will come back to Tawang

Day 5Tawang to Bomdila

Post breakfast, We will drive to Bomdila through the lush green mountains of Arunachal Pradesh. The major attractions for today are : Nuranang Falls, Bomdila View Point , Monastery at Bomdila ( This abode to Buddhist monks and Llamas is the biggest attraction in Bomdila. The monastery is also believed to be an exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery, Tibet.), The local market for shopping.

Day 6Bomdila to Kaziranga

Embark on a seamless journey from serene Bomdila to the wildlife wonderland of Kaziranga National Park. Traverse picturesque mountain roads, arriving at Kaziranga by midday. After checking in, enjoy an exhilarating jeep safari through the park’s dense forests and grasslands, witnessing its renowned wildlife. As the sun sets, indulge in a delicious dinner under the stars before a restful night surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. This seamless transition promises an unforgettable adventure through the natural beauty of North East India.

Day 7Kaziranga Day Tour

This morning we will be going in for the jeep safari to the central range of the Park which will give you a closer look inside. Safari starts morning at 0530 HRS and take about 1 Hour for the tour.
Come back from Elephant Safari, have some breakfast and your Jeep Will be waiting for Eastern range safari.

By noon head toward Kaziranga Orchid Park which several endangered species and if you are fond of flora it is must place to visit .
Once exploring the place, spend evening at leisure

Day 8Kaziranga to Shillong

Post breakfast,  we will start from Kaziranga to Shillong, experience a scenic drive through Northeast India’s enchanting landscapes, arriving in the charming hill station of Shillong for a memorable exploration of its natural and cultural wonders.

Day 9 Shillong to Cherrapunji

Today we will head deeper in the Khasi hills & towards the more gorgeous parts of Meghalaya.
Today’s journey is full of places to see. By the end of the day, you would have visited the following places:

● Elephant falls.
● Shillong Peak.
● Mawkdok Viewpoint.
● Wha Kaba falls.
● Arwah Caves.
● Dainthlen Falls.[Time & weather permitting.]
● Non Kalikai Falls.
● Mawsmai Caves.

Day 10Cherrapunji Day Tour

Today, you can either choose to visit the following places
● Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven sisters falls).
● Eco Park – Missing Falls.
● Guided walk in a thousand-year-old sacred grove. [Mawphlang Sacred Grove]
● The weekly market in Cherrapunjee is quite interesting but the market day
changes every week. If it is a market day while you are there, a visit to the market.
or
You can go on a trek to the double-decker living root bridges of Nongriat. It’s an experience like no other. If you enjoy swimming, do not forget to bring your swim-wear with you, you will need them when you find the kid inside you unable to hold back from jumping in the turquoise blue natural pools.

Day 11Cherrapunji to Dawki to Shillong

Today, we start for Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. But before we head there, we will take a detour towards the India – Bangladesh border at Dawki and experience the transparent waters of the Umngkot river. Today’s plan will look something like this:

● Bop Hill Falls.
● You can go for a boat ride on the crystal clear waters of the Umngot river if you choose to.
● Drive down to the Tamabil BOP and shake hands/interact with the jawans of
Bangladesh Rifles.
● Drive to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. It’s a beautiful drive from one ridge to another overlooking lush-green hill and deep cloud-covered valleys

Day 12Shillong To Guwahati

Check out post breakfast, drive to Guwahati to catch your outbound fight to another home.
